Nancy (Cupelli) Green
First, I want to thank the reunion
committee for doing such a great
job in planning the reunion and giving former classmates an opportunity
to learn about what has been happening in each others lives the past
several years. Although I will be attending the reunion tomorrow night,
I thought I would give a quick update to those who won't be able to
attend.
After high school, I went to WVU for around a year and a half. I then
married my former husband and took a break from college when I had two
children, Tricia (who works for a law firm in Morgantown as a collection
clerk) and Todd (who has a Masters degree in Social work and is also in
the Morgantown area. When my children started pre-school, I went back
to school to complete my degree in Business and Family Resources. One of
my professors encouraged me to take the LSAT and go to law school. If I
could only find him now! I went to law school at WVU and raised 2
children at the same time. It was certainly a challenge. After I
graduated, I started a legal research business with another attorney and
we were based in Morgantown. After my children were older I went to
work for a law firm in Clarksburg and eventually joined Spilman Thomas &
Battle in Morgantown. I have been with Spilman for 15 years, eventually
running our Weirton office for several years. I am currently working in
our Wheeling, West Virginia office. I have been divorced for around 7
years and just recently remarried in April of this year. His name is
Frank Diettinger and he is a radiologist in the area. I have not
changed my name for work related reasons so I am still Nancy Green.
Frank has a great love for Italy as he went to medical school there. He
speaks fluent Italian and we travel there quite frequently, drinking a
lot of wine and eating a lot of good food. If only we didn't have to
work!
I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.
My best to everyone!!
Nancy
