Wow! I just got home and back to
my computer and here were all these emails waiting for me! I add my thanks to
the reunion committee for a wonderful event! I know there has been an
enormous amount of planning to achieve such a fabulous party! Like several
others, I wanted more time to spend with everyone - we needed about a week to
see everyone! For anyone I didn't see or those who were unable to attend,
here's the short version of my life during the last 40 years. Went to WVU,
graduated in '71 with a degree in Family Resources. Married in '69, one son,
Jeff, born in Morgantown in 1970. Moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC (by Charleston) in
1978, another son, Joseph, born in Charleston in 1981. Taught Home Economics
(Family and Consumer Science) at the local high school for 25 years. Divorced
in '96. Retired due to a disability (MS) in Jan. '02. Currently volunteering
at a local hospital and serving on the constituent school board in Charleston
Co. I really loved seeing those who were at Dimitris and also Mulligan's on
Friday. Thanks, Erick, for setting that up! I also agree that these bios
should be compiled and printed up. They could be sold for whatever it takes to
print them. I agree with Scott that you could solicit donations for start-up
funds, if needed. Many of us would be willing to contribute. I can hardly
wait for the next event. Meanwhile, if any of you want to come to the beach, I
live about 10 minutes from the beach and I have extra bedrooms. Hope to see
you ALL at he next one!
