This forum is open to anyone who attended Morgantown High in Morgantown, WV. Here you can meet old friends and make new ones. Whether you enjoyed high school or not, the fact that you attended MHS was still part of your life ...besides where else will you find people who appreciate pepperoni rolls?

My name is Erick Sizer from the class of 67 and I started this on Delphi as a free forum in 2001 but in the interests of expanding the member base, with easier access and with more features I moved it out onto the web where search engines can find it. It is still a FREE forum. No Pop-ups and no banner ads. This site is optimized for a dial-up connection, hence no fancy Flash or java scripts to wait to load.

My web host is concerned about spammer and hacker attacks on websites that use MySql software.  Most of the open source (i.e. free..<G>) forums on the web use that software.  So they have issued some new guidelines:

1. Monitor your applications: Unattended bulletin boards and blogs are attractive targets for spammers, and spam-postings compromise the integrity of your site and slow down database performance.
2. Uninstall any unused applications: Unused applications can still be accessed, whether you link to them or not.
3. Turn off guest or anonymous posting: By prohibiting unapproved postings to your site, you gain more control of site credibility.
4. Require registration and registration confirmation: Deter spammers from automatically signing up for an account and flooding your site with inappropriate content.
5. Upgrade to the latest version of all applications: Keeping your code up to date allows you take advantage of improved security and functionality   offered by new releases.

 I changed forum software after an earlier Mohi forum was hacked and now my site requires visitors to register before they can view topics and otherwise participate in forum functions.  If you decide to register you can expect an email from me to verify your real name and when you attended MHS.

There are pages of  alumni pictures and I am always looking for more so if you have pictures to share from "back then " and/or now ..send them either by email or I can give you my snail mail address.

The forum has sponsored several get-togethers at Archies in Sabraton and there are pictures from them here.

We also organized an MHS get-together in Las Vegas, NV in May 2004 with 8 alumni from California, Arizona, West Virginia, and Virginia.

We had a get-together in Morgantown in July, 2007 and are planning another one for May 7, 2008 in Las Vegas.
